The Concept for two paintings.
Two large canvasses. Both will have self portraits on. I will be dressed as Wonder woman.

On canvas A there will be a full size image of myself looking down at a gaping hole in my stomach area. This hole will be the size of a football representing the size of my Mother’s ovarian cancer.
This will be a gaping hole. I’m looking down at the empty space in disbelief. This representing the feeling of emptiness inside when someone you love dies.

The edges ripped. The feeling of someone having being torn from your life.

I will be reaching out, trying to grasp what is happening, trying to understand the empty space, the void.
