Exploring Immortality

I spoke with my improv friend and gave him the basics of my project.
I had come to the realisation that looking into death and facing grief can be hard going, so the comedy element actually is a way to maintain my mood and to keep my endorphins up.
To be investigating death, watching documenties can bring up grief.
Dark humour, irony and play feel balanced. This work is about myself and one of those things is improv, so it feels right to explore this.

After I gave the brief outline of my project we filmed an improv scene.
As improv is about accepting and saying yes.
We came to the conclusion that I would be a vet and my friend was bringing in his dog.
The general theme being about death.

The scene went as follows, my friend wanted his dog to live forever, and asked if I could facilitate this.
My response being yes.
We discussed the process and the programs I as the vet had , no expense spared.
It was a playful expression looking at mortality. I will read watch the piece tomorrow and look forward to feedback from fellow students.
